 |  Although I was born in Bay City Michigan, I consider Colorado my home. My family and I moved here when I was 8 years old. I still remember celebrating my 9th birthday at this funny looking restaurant called Baby Does. I felt very special wearing my cowgirl boots and hat to have a western style birthday! I’m a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver holding a degree in English and a minor in Special Education. I am currently working on my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in math and science at the University of Colorado at Denver. When I’m not busy hanging out with kids, I enjoy running, skiing, inline skating, reading, gardening, and cooking!
