 Mrs. ThompsonMinimize

As a resource teacher, I have truly enjoyed watching my students in the resource program develop and improve their skills in math, reading and writing. Each year they delight in their individual improvements and reaching that next benchmark goal.
Even though my husband, two children and I resided in Cairo, Egypt (five years) and Katy, Texas (eight years) I am happy to say that I am a Colorado native. Having taught school in each location, it is thrilling to be back in Colorado and teaching at Littleton Public Schools. I am proud to be Colorado educated having received my BA at Colorado State University and my MA at University of Denver.
Unless you count Spooky (the calico cat) and McKinley (the Alaskan malamute), my husband and I are “empty nesters”. Our son is attending Montana State University and our daughter is attending Colorado State University.
My experiences have allowed me to recognize that the parents, students and staff at Walt Whitman Elementary are an amazing group. I sincerely appreciate each day at Whitman!
