 Devra Beldock

Psychologist

I was born in Salem, Massachusetts, but my family moved to Denver when I was 8, and I graduated from Denver's South High School. I received my undergraduate degree from the Metropolitan State College, and my masters in Educational Psychology along with additional coursework for state endorsement in School Psychology at CU-Denver. Before coming to Littleton I worked in Greeley and Ft. Collins. This has been my 6th year in Littleton Public Schools, and my first year at Walt Whitman. I worked at Goddard Middle School prior to making the move to elementary, and I couldn't be happier about my decision. I am proud to be part of Whitman's hard working staff and have truly enjoyed getting to know the wonderful Whitman kids and their families.

 Faye Hargrave

Counselor

Working with elementary age children has been my passion since the late ‘60’s. I spent 5 years as a primary grade teacher before completing my Masters in School Counseling, then moved on to counselor’s positions in Louisiana, Texas, then in Aurora, Colorado. My family has lived in LPS District since we moved to Colorado in 1990.

I am delighted to be a small part of the Whitman Community and to help support our students in their learning and in the challenges of everyday life.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days that I work at Whitman, but I do check voice mail daily. I am always happy to hear from the parents of our great kids!

 Rebecca Lower

Speech-Language Therapist

I grew up on the East Coast (in Virginia) and have done a lot of traveling and exploring since I graduated from the University of Virginia. I lived in Colorado from 2000 to 2002 before I moved on to other adventures. I came back to Colorado in August of 2005 and never plan to move again! Most recently, I was living in Charlottesville, VA, working for the University of Virginia; training graduate students who want to become speech therapists. I do miss my family, but I also think Colorado is the best place for me, because I love to be outside. This is my first year working in Littleton, and I am very happy to be at Whitman! I am here three days/week and work for a non-profit agency in Denver the other two days/week. I live in Denver with my two dogs, and I spend my free time running, reading, and enjoying the city and the outdoors with my friends.
