I was born and raised in Bourbonnais, Illinois, a small town near Chicago. I graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, and began my teaching career in St Louis, Missouri. I was a Special Education Teacher during the day and a college basketball coach at night. I moved to Colorado in 1997 and taught in Bennett and Aurora before coming to Walt Whitman at the start of the 05-06 school year. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends participating in numerous outside activities.
